PROLAB series of Programmable DC Power Supplies combine several advanced functions with amazingly simple operation & safety.
All PROLAB units can be ordered with three optional ways of remote communication, viz. IEEE488 or RS232C or Unique Serial Interface - SPIB.
PROLAB has simple front panel controls and a unique key-switch which locks the panel settings.
Outputs are isolated & can be connected externally in series or in parallel.
In the computer controlled mode, PROLAB has a remote read-back function. As a special feature, it also allows automatic correction of setting based on read back. PROLAB fully supports Talker and Listener functions.
Another unique feature of these power supplies is the galvanic isolation of the remote computer control signals from their output.
  
COMPUTER CONTROL OPTION
Three modes of operation are feasible depending on the interface card installed.
Option 1 : RS232C
Power supplies can be controlled through simple command protocols.
Option 2 : IEEE488
The power supplies support full Talker and Listener functions.
Interface Capability : SH1, AH1, T6, TE0, L4, LE0, SR1, RL0, PP0, DC1, DT0, C0, E1.
IEEE Commands : DCL, UNT, UNL, SDC, SPE, SPD.
Bus Signals : IFC, REN, SRQ, ATN.
Programmable Parameters : Voltage, current and OVP setting; voltage, current and OVP read back; crow bar reset, display mode selection; remote / local selection.
Programmable SRQ Modes : SRQ MASK.
SRQ Available on : Syntax error, current limit operation, OVP operation and internal failure.
Option 2 : SPIB
DEL offers a unique serial interface bus, SPIB, which permits daisy chaining several 9710Ps from a single RS232C serial port of the host computer.
